This exhibition has a populist premise: it's an exhibition of people's favorite mugs, on loan just for the exhibition. Each mug is accompanied by wall text taken directly from a survey that asked participants why this was their favorite mug. All together, the exhibition is an earnest, heartfelt series of stories and anecdotes about an assortment of 50-odd mugs and reveals the many reasons objects carry such attachment in our lives.
