Ceramics
Ceramics and pottery have been a part of my creative practice from the very beginning. My high school pottery classes under the inspirational teacher Anne Smith were especially formative, and a 1996 – 1997 apprenticeship with master potter Akira "Kei" Tanimoto in Iga, Japan, was the unlikely beginning of my interest in conceptual art.
